Roll up, roll up, the circus is in town. Western Bay locals will be treated to a circus extravaganza filled with aerial stunts, balancing acts and a whole lot of laughs over the next month. Circus Aotearoa has returned to Tauranga for its Big BOP Hoopla Tour, with four weeks of performances spread between Memorial Park in Tauranga and Simpson Reserve in Papamoa. Ringmaster Damian Gordon said the 90-minute, animal-free show would be filled with lots of action and laughs, and encouraged people of all ages to ``come and have a fun day out''. Afternoon and evening circus shows will take place at Memorial Park from February 1 to 10, and in Papamoa from February 15 to 24.
