Welcome Bay Rd to close
Traffic commuting through Welcome Bay will be diverted away from the main road as work continue to upgrade roading in the area.
The stretch of Welcome Bay Rd between James Cook Drv and Waitaha Rd will be closed from today. The road closures will be in place from time to time and a detour route will be in place via James Cook Drv and Waitaha Rd.
Work is expected to take three weeks to complete with final surfacing being completed after Christmas.
Traffic has been asked to allow extra time for delays.
