Walkway reopens after landslip
The section of a riverbank pathway near Fairfield Bridge which was closed on Monday after a small landslip has reopened.
The landslip occurred on private and public land neighbouring the Waikato River, approximately 400 metres south of the Fairfield Bridge, on the western or city side, below a Victoria Street property, causing several cubic metres of soil to cover the Hamilton City Council-owned riverbank pathway.
