A Tauranga jury is yet to reach a verdict in the case of Te Puke man Kane Wall, who is charged with the gunpoint robbery of Inbargo Bar and Bistro in Te Puke in October 2011.

But last night jurors found Wall's partner, Jessica Pohuturangi Dinsdale, 22, guilty of attempting to pervert the course of justice, relating to her telling a cousin to lie to police about her and Wall's movements leading up to the robbery.

Wall, 32, has been on trial in Tauranga District Court this week defending charges of aggravated robbery, assault with a weapon and injuring with intent to injure.

The jury continues its deliberations today.
