Triathlon to close Mount Maunganui roads
A handful of Mount Maunganui roads will be closed for the Port of Tauranga Half Iron Man Triathlon.
From 6am tomorrow to 5pm on Sunday, these roads will be closed: Salisbury Wharf Car Park, Salisbury Ave from Victoria Rd, and The Mall from Salisbury Ave to Prince Ave. On Saturday, Salisbury Ave, The Mall, Adams Avee, Marine Parade, Oceanbeach Rd, and Maranui St from Omanu Way to Sunrise Ave will be closed from 6am.
The roads are expected to reopen about 2pm after the last participants pass through each area.
Access to and from Papamoa will be via Sunrise Ave, Grenada St, Girven Rd.
