Three injured in early morning crash
Three people were taken to Tauranga Hospital after the car they were travelling in crashed early this morning.
The three people were in a car that had been travelling along Turret Rd about 1.30am when the driver lost control and crashed the into a tree by 15th Ave, Western Bay of Plenty head of road policing Ian Campion said.
One of the occupants suffered serious injury and two others received medical treatment for minor injuries.
Mr Campion said police were waiting on an analysis of blood from the driver to determine the cause of the crash.
