Te Puna fatal crash: victim named
The driver of a Mazda car who died following a head on collision on SH2, Te Puna, north of Tauranga at 12.13pm yesterday has been named by police.
He was Christopher David Harvey aged 55 years of Katikati.
The driver and occupants of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries.
Police enquiries are continuing and Crash Investigators will complete a scene survey and analysis.
Police thank those members of the public who stopped to help and comfort the victims.
