Surfing: Mount surfer in perfect 10 effort

Mount Maunganui surfers performed well at the 2013 Rip Curl Pro at Ruapuke Beach, Raglan, on Sunday.

JC Susan was one of the form surfers of the event, making his way to the final of the Open Men's Division where he placed fourth, while Matt Hewitt was one of two surfers at the event that scored a perfect 10-point ride.

Jordan Griffin, in the Under-16 Boys GromSearch final completed an excellent two-hit combo for a 7.17 point ride which was enough to secure second place.
