Stolen cards used to take money

A man wanted by police to help with enquiries into money being withdrawn from a bank account with stolen cards.

Police are appealing for help finding a man who withdrew funds from a bank account using stolen cards.

Sergeant Carolyn Crawford-Smith said a victim lost his wallet in town August 30. The man then discovered his ASB account overdrawn.

The bank have advised that a man has entered the bank using the victim's driver's licence and has withdrawn $456.00 out of his account, Ms Crawford-Smith said.

Police are seeking the identity of the person in the photograph wearing distinctive beanie to assist them in their enquiries.
