Six set for trial
Five Western Bay men and a woman accused of the night-time bashing and robbery of two teenage boys in June have been committed to trial.
Trinity Brown, 17, Sky Baker, 18, and Tupaea Rolleston, 17, all from Judea, and Eugene Reti, 19, of Waihi, and Joseph Smith, 17, from Bethlehem, appeared in Tauranga District Court on Tuesday and were committed to the High Court at Rotorua on two joint charges of aggravated robbery.
The sixth defendant Roretana Rolleston, 21, was committed to the same court on Monday.
No trial date has been set and all six are to appear on in court on October 18.
