Award-winning business speaker Mike Handcock is coming to Tauranga with a message for local businesses - get sexier.

Mr Handcock, an international entrepreneur and speaker based in Auckland, said Kiwi's still hadn't realised sexy was selling.

The average Kiwi entrepreneur was stuck in the past and unaware of their potential, Mr Handcock said.

"Kiwis are probably the best entrepreneurs in the world, but at present they haven't realised there has been a shift.

"New media, rampant outsourcing, and sexy brands led by industry rockstars is occurring the world over and we are a little behind the play."

Mr Handcock believes the thing that creates a sexy leader is leadership with heart and authenticity.

Mr Handcock will be bringing his Sexy Business tour to the Tauranga Chamber of Commerce on February 26, starting at 7pm.
