Reader soapboax: Why the film industry is struggling

People watch a film in 3D.
People watch a film in 3D.

I went to watch the latest release of the Hobbit yesterday. UNBELIEVABLE the cheek of people. Three people all seated in separate areas of the cinema.

All videoing the film via their phones.

At one stage the cinema staff came in to remove one lot - but missed the other two.

Disappointed to see this happening. The activity so blatantly obvious to anyone else seated behind them.

Disappointed that the staff aren't seen to be actively checking activities of such nature on a more frequent basis.

What happened to the days gone by when one could expect to be told by staff to quieten down, feet off seats, don't rock in the seats?

If the practice of videoing films is so easy - no wonder the film industry is struggling.
