Parents and children racing together will feature in tomorrow's XRACE at Hamilton Gardens.
Parents and children racing together will feature in tomorrow's XRACE at Hamilton Gardens.

XRACE is a mystery adventure where children aged 7-12 race alongside their parents.

It's the first year of the series, the brainchild of Shane Hooks, creator of the Special K Triathlon Series.

Tomorrow's XRACE Hamilton is part of the national series of 14 events and is from 10am at Hamilton Gardens.

Organiser expect a large entry. The event takes about 90 minutes to complete, with the faster teams expected to take about 45-55 minutes.

Teams have to find and complete challenges inspired by backyard fun, such as flying a kite, running on stilts, or solving puzzles.
