Police identify man found in burned out car

Police have released the name of the man found in a burned out car near Taupo.

He was 41-year-old Marcelo Jose Luis Pazzelli from Taupo.

The car was found on Wednesday when firefighters were called to put out a fire in the Kinleith Forest between Taupo and Tokoroa.

Police said the death was not being treated as suspicious and the matter had been referred to the coroner.
