Places to stay during AIMS Games

Motels will be busy during the Aims Games next week but there are still rooms available, according to Tauranga Motel Association treasurer Chris Stamatakos.

''The lower end motels do fill up quickly but more of the higher end motels are not even close.''

He said there were between 100 and 150 rooms available each night next week at motels within the association.

Booking a room for the duration of the games may be difficult but not impossible, he said.

There were plenty of options for those only wanting a room for a shorter length of time.
