104-year-old Tauranga resident dies
One of Tauranga's oldest residents has died.
Elsie Toms, 104, passed away on Friday at Matua Lifecare Village.
She was born on August 21, 1909, at Mangaweka - the first of seven children to Annie and Jim Zohs.
Mrs Toms had three sons and outlived three husbands.
Mrs Toms was in her 104th year.
