Paeroa homicide: no new leads
There have been no further developments in the Paeroa homicide or the Waihi and Katikati attempted aggravated robberies.
Senior Sergeant Lew Warner, acting head of the Tauranga CIB, said there was nothing new to report in either case.
On Monday morning, a female service station attendant in Waihi was held up at gunpoint and assaulted.
Twenty minutes later, a Katikati dairy was also held up at gunpoint.
Police are searching for the same three offenders for both attempted aggravated robberies.
On the same morning in Paeroa, pizza shop owner Jordan Voudouris was found dead outside his store. Police are refusing to rule out a connection between the homicide and the two attempted robberies.
