New host for Classic Hits
The Radio Network has today announced there will be a new host for the Classic Hits morning show in 2013.
Current host Murray Lindsay is moving to host the Coast morning show after a 15-year stint as host of the Classic Hits morning show.
Peter Dakin is set to replace Mr Lindsay in the 9am-12pm radio spot. He will begin his new role on January 14.
Classic Hits content director Jason Winstanley said Peter was a respected host who was highly regarded for his versatility, having had a number of on air roles on various stations.
Mr Lindsay said it had been a wonderful privilege to be part of the Classic Hits family and he now looked forward to the new challenges and opportunities of his new role at Coast.
Mr Lindsay's last show on Classic Hits will be Friday, December 21. He will begin his new show on Coast from January 14.
