New bus shelters for city
Work begins this week to install new bus shelters at seven sites around Tauranga city.
The shelters will be found on Domain Road, fronting Westpac Bank; Carmichael Road, fronting Bethlehem Country Club; 15th Avenue, fronting No. 167 and 164; Grenada Street, fronting No. 50 and Bayswater Retirement Village; Hairini Street, opposite No.1 and upgrading of an existing shelter as part of some minor safety works will be done in this area.
The bus shelters will be installed over the next few weeks. Work is expected to be completed before Christmas.
