Bryn Ingham and Kerry Gregory are all set for the world record attempt at skinny dipping.

A skinny dipping world record attempt in Papamoa is just days away but more people are needed to make it a success.

The Edge radio station is organising the event at Harrison's Cut at 2pm on Sunday in an attempt to break the world record of 413 people skinny dipping in one place.

The Facebook page shows 204 people confirmed as attending the event so far - only half the number needed to break the record.

Buses will be transporting keen skinny dippers to Papamoa from Auckland, Hamilton and Rotorua.
