Missing teen could be in the Bay
Police are asking Tauranga residents for help tracking down a missing Hamilton teenager.
Fifteen-year-old Trinitee Kahvanna-Mari Maxwell, known as Trini, has been missing since November and is known to visit Tauranga.
Detective Karl Little of Hamilton City Police said Trini was last seen on the November 17, 2012 in Hamilton West, where she was in the care of Child, Youth and Family.
"Enquiries have ascertained that Trini had been in communication through a social media site, since being reported missing and may have been in Henderson, Auckland. She is also known to frequent Hamilton and Tauranga.
"Whilst we don't believe Trini is in any danger, we want to locate her, due to her age and her vulnerability."
Trini is described as Maori, of medium build and around 1.5m in height with straight dark hair. She has the word 'LOVE' tattooed across her right hand knuckles and an unfinished tattoo on her right ankle.
