Minor crash on Takitimu Drive
A person has been taken to hospital after a minor crash on Takitimu Drive.
Western Bay of Plenty road policing manager Senior Sergeant Ian Campion said a person driving on Takitimu Drive towards Elizabeth St crashed into a concrete median barrier about 1pm today.
The driver was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Mr Campion said initial indications were that the crash was caused when the driver suffered a medical event.
