Maori king to open building

A new building to be unveiled this week at the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic marks another stage in the partnership with the University of Waikato.

The $4.6 million partnership Maharaia building, which has been partially funded by the Tertiary Education Commission, will be  opened by the Maori king, King Tuheitia  tomorrow.

University of Waikato representatives, including Chancellor Jim Bolger, will speak at the opening.
