A 70-year-old man has been injured in a bulldozer accident.

A police Northern Communications spokesperson said ambulance and police officers were heading to Kaitemako Rd after reports of a bulldozer rolling and injuring a man.

The accident was believed to have taken place at the Tauranga Quarry.
