A meeting with Prime Minister John Key heads the charity auction prize list in the inaugural Carrus Lord of the Ring Corporate Charity Boxing Challenge, in the TECT Arena on December 8.

The prize package includes a return trip to Auckland in a luxury European supercar, a night at Skycity Grand Hotel, a tour of TVNZ by newsreader Peter Williams, a meeting with John Key followed by lunch with Peter Williams, Tauranga MP Simon Bridges and another surprise celebrity.

The event includes 11 corporate fights and one pro fight and is gearing up to be a night of Tauranga's glitterati, with more than 120 tables sold and just 10 still available.

General admission seats from $40 are available from www.lordofthering.net.nz.

All proceeds go to Waipuna Hospice, with the winning fighters also raising $1000 for a charity of their choice.

The Bay of Plenty Times' indulge magazine is sponsoring one of the fighters, media consultant Deb Batkins.
