Huge haul of sea lettuce
Tauranga's biggest collection of smelly, washed-up sea lettuce saw 360 tonnes scooped off the foreshore of Matua and Bureta, from Fergusson Park to Kulim Park.
Tauranga City Council and Environment Bay of Plenty are planning at least one more collection along the foreshore before Christmas.
