Nosh Food Market continues its expansion as it opens its seventh store in Mt Maunganui today with The Good Food Trading Co. converting to a Nosh.

The Mount store is the third outside of Auckland and is part of a much larger expansion program aimed at broadening the chain's reach across the upper North Island.

Jo and Jamie Blennerhassett who have operated The Good Food Trading Co. for the past two years have joined the chain as a 100% owned and operated franchise store.

"We've worked closely with Nosh for the last year on a range of issues and the decision to join the group was a really easy one.

"We found we shared the same vision around what we wanted to deliver to customers and the greater brand recognition and buying power of a combined force had to be a good thing for both us and our customers," says Jamie.

The new store officially opened today with a VIP-only morning featuring special deals, food tastings and cooking demonstrations by Masterchef winner Chelsea Winter.
