Gas leak on 6th Ave sealed
Police this morning blocked off a city street after a gas leak was detected.
Four fire engines were called to 6th Ave this morning at 8am, including one from Mount Maunganui.
Police closed down the avenue on the eastern side of Cameron Rd.
Emergency services sealed the gas leak at approximately 8.40 and the road has been reopened.
