Feed the berries
Strawberries will soon start to ripen in warmer places so it's a good time to start feeding them.
Mulch protects
It won't rain forever, so lay in a supply of mulch to protect against water loss and weeds.
Dig in now
If you have any work to do that requires digging - such as making borders, edges and post holes - get on to it before the rain stops and the soil hardens.
Plant fruits
Plant old-fashioned fruits such as passionfruit, rhubarb and tamarillos, as well as perennial and summer flowering bulbs such as dahlia, begonia, gladioli and calla lily.
