Funeral for prominent biker underway

The funeral for prominent Filthy Few Motorcylce Club member, Dennis Michael Pederson, known as Deno,  is underway, sending a roar across the central city.

Deno died when his motorcycle collided with a car in the  South Island on Sunday.

Hundreds of people, many of them on bikes, have gathered to pay their respect. 

At 12.30pm, they started making their way from Birch Ave, where the headquarters of the Tauranga Filthy Few is situated, to Pyes Pa where the funeral will begin at 1pm.
