Festival of Speed’ tour heads to Lake Karapiro

Catch the action this weekend as grand prix hydroplanes, formula one tunnels and unlimited racing roundabouts take to Lake Karapiro to battle it out.

Racing starts at 11am, with 17 races scheduled for Saturday 2nd February including the 'Champion of Champions' mixed class race made up of mod-H, formula 2 & 3, mod VP, formula V and series 3000 racing run about, pro-com, pro stock and jet boats.

The North Island modified hydroplane race, NZ formula one powerboat tour round 2, bath tub racing and more are also on the cards on Saturday; while Sunday's racing sees the NZ formula one powerboat tour final, Mash Motor Sport modified hydroplanes race, the Masport cup, thunder cats, Dennis Taylor King of the Lake race and more.
