Double delight for newspaper reader

Last week couldn't have been much luckier for one Bay of Plenty Times reader.

Kath Henry was a runner-up for the Stacks of Cash promotion and won $1000 and was then drawn as one of the daily TSB Take a Leap Forward and Win winners, taking home $250.

''It was an amazing week. I can't believe it. I hardly win anything,'' she said.

''It was our week.''

Her daughter also won a DVD the same week.

Ms Henry said the windfalls had come at exactly the right time.

''I'm going to Whanganui for a bowls tournament so that will come in handy.''

She will also give her daughter some of the money but is leaving the $250 in the TSB account.

The Bay of Plenty Times subscriber said she had a number of entries among the 21,354 that were received for the Stacks of Cash competition.
