Dead man found down ditch
Tauranga's Serious Crash Unit are investigating the discovery of a dead man and motorcycle down a bank in the Bay of Plenty.
The man and bike were found by an off duty firefighter near Taneatua at 10.15am today, a police northern communications spokesman said.
It is understood the man and bike crash through a barrier, about 3 kilometres south of Taneatua township.
