New Zealand's only professional contemporary dance company with disabled and non-disabled dancers, Touch Compass, will be in Tauranga this week working with students from Avalon Training Centre and Mount Maunganui and Tauranga Girls' Colleges.

The company's education programme Encompass is also running an integrated dance workshop for disabled and non-disabled dancers at Te Puna War Memorial Hall from 11.30am to 1.30pm on Friday.

The workshop is open to the public and will include a 15-minute performance of the company's new work, Run, choreographed by Marc Brew.
