A Te Puke man who allowed his younger brother to use his home to manufacture and deal methamphetamine has been sentenced to six months' community detention.

Robert Speelman, 56, was sentenced in Tauranga District Court yesterday after earlier pleading guilty to the charge. His brother Simon John Speelman, 36, was jailed for three years 10 months on February 11 for related offences.
