Document your memories for the National Kete and you could be in to win.

Would you like to record a memory of a special person or place?

The National Kete allows you to do this online and you could win cash for doing it.

The annual Memoir and Local History competition run by the Society of Authors in the Bay of Plenty region is now taking entries.

You can write about anywhere or anybody in New Zealand, and there are additional prizes for a Bay of Plenty memory and for writing by a Young Writer (13-18).

All entries will get posted on the National Kete and add to the treasurehouse of stories past and present.

Request a copy of the rules by sending an email to nzsabop@gmail.com.

Entries close November 30.
