Car on fire outside Bayfair
A car is on fire outside Bayfair Shopping Centre.
Emergency services are on their way to the car fire, which has been descried as "well alight".
A spokesperson from Northern Communications Fire Service said the car was on fire on Maunganui Rd, outside Bayfair Shopping Centre.
The spokesperson said the fire service had received multiple calls around 12.20pm.
The car has been described as silver in colour and a saloon-style vehicle.
The spokesperson said the car was "well alight".
Motorists in the area have been advised to drive with caution.
