Brothers taken to hospital after car crash
Two brothers were taken to hospital with minor injuries after their car rolled in Whakamarama.
A reporter at the scene said the 18-year-old driver and his 16-year-old brother were driving down Youngson Rd towards Tauranga when they hit a bank on the passengers side.
The car then flipped onto its side then scraped along the road on its side before flipping numerous times.
The boys father was at the scene and said they were taken to hospital by ambulance as a precaution.
Police, ambulance and fire crews were called to the scene about 3.30pm.
