They say customer service goes a long way, but the team at Bayfair Shopping Centre is putting money where their mouth is by holding awards for the best shop assistant in their building.
People are being asked to nominate Bayfair shop assistants in the second annual Customer Service Champion award for the 2012 Bayfair Shopping Centre retail champion.
The customer service award recognises outstanding retail staff at Bayfair while rewarding the customers who nominate them.
All customers who complete an entry form detailing their best experience at Bayfair, nominating an exceptional retail star, go in the draw to win a $500 Bayfair gift card.
The nominations will be carefully analysed by a panel of experienced retail managers and the top ten will be put to the test by an anonymous mystery shopper before the winner is selected.
The Customer Service Champion for 2012 will receive a trophy and certificate, a Bayfair gift card and of course, the honour of being a role model in their industry.
To nominate an outstanding retailer at Bayfair for the award, shoppers can complete a form available from the Information Desk or submit their comments on the 'contact us' section of www.bayfair.co.nz. Nominations will close on October 25 with the winner announced on November 12.
