Attempted murder accused remanded

A third man charged with attempted murder will remain behind bars.
A third man charged with attempted murder will remain behind bars.

A third man charge with two counts of attempted murder after two seperate shooting incidents remains behind bars.

Raymond Charles Perry, 35, from Hamilton faced two counts of attempted murder and one charge each of wounding with intent to cause grevious bodily harm, aggravated burglary and burglary in the Tauranga District Court this morning.

Perry also faced two further charges: one of burglary and one of arson.

The arson charge relates to a motor vehicle.

Police opposed bail but Perry did not seek bail this morning.

He was remanded in custody by Judge Thomas Ingram.

Perry, who has not entered pleas, is due back in court on November 22.

Two other men are facing attempted murder charges and are due back in court on Monday.
