Alleged sexual assault in Merivale
An alleged sexual assault that is believed to have taken place in Merivale on the weekend is being investigated by Tauranga police.
Acting Sergeant Cam Anderson said a female was allegedly sexually assaulted near Henderson Cres on Saturday night.
Further details were not known at this stage but Tauranga detectives were investigating.
