Man waits in pain after motorcycle fall
A man was injured after falling from his motorcycle on the Fishers Track west of National Park this afternoon.
Taupo's Greenlea Rescue Helicopter was called to the scene to fly the 23-year-old to Rotorua Hospital.
He had multiple leg injuries.
Rescue helicopter staff said that due to the remote location of the incident and lack of cellphone coverage the man had to wait for some time in considerable pain as another person raised the alarm.
