16-year-old girl injured in tractor crash

Emergency services were called to a rural intersection after a car collided with a tractor last night.

St John, police and the fire brigade went to Number 3 Rd in Te Puke about 8.10pm after reports of a collision between a car and a tractor.

A 16-year-old girl has been taken to Tauranga hospital with minor injuries.

It is understood the tractor did not have lights operating.
