Woman trapped as car hits trees

A woman was trapped when the car she was in left the road near Hamilton this morning. A police spokesman said the vehicle crashed into some trees at the intersection of Whatawhata Rd and Cemetery Rd shortly before 10.15am. The woman was trapped in the vehicle by a fence but emergency services managed to get her out. She was taken to Waikato Hospital with minor injuries.
