New Zealand's new High Commissioner in London has been put up in high-end accommodation in Kensington costing $7500 a week. Instead of moving into the official residence, a Clareville St property in the upmarket suburb of Kensington, former Speaker Lockwood Smith is staying in leased accommodation in the same suburb at a cost of £4000 British (NZ$7500) a week.
